Back to Business

After hiatus for a while, I think it’s time to go back to business again. The development of SLAMPP will be resumed and you can expect the new release soon. At the same time, I would like to express my apology to you, the devoted users of SLAMPP, for the lack of updates recently.

To help me improve SLAMPP, you can also give me some input what you would like to see or have in the next release of SLAMPP or SLAMPPLite. Please write down your comments on this entry.

Thank you.

I would like to see SLAMPP have it’s own repos where we can easily dist-upgrade from and also a good HD installer that will give us a choice of lilo/grub and MBR/partition ;)

Hmm, ya, saya setuju dengan stux. Kalo bisa diprogram untuk install ke hardisk dengan konfigurasi lengkap dan siap untuk sebuah server dan bukan live-cd lagi.

I did a total upgrade on the slapt-get package manager. After installation of updates the panel disappeared and no longer could I boot up slampp-lite - it just hung at the point of configuring the mouse and the keyboard wasn’t configured yet. So I’m shut out. So I wonder, is this a freak occurance or is doing an upgrade on the repositories an unwise and risky move,

But all in all I think slampp a great distro!
